Jasmine Pearl

The most tender green tealeaves and silvery down-covered buds are hand rolled into small pearls and naturally scented with the essence of fresh jasmine blossoms. The fragrant blossoms are mixed with our reserve Dragon Pearl (Long Xu) several times until it becomes infused with the sweet flavor and heady aroma of real jasmine. More than 20 pounds of fresh jasmine flowers are used to scent each pound of dried Dragon Pearl green tea.

This is my favorite green tea. The aroma is wonderfully intense, floral (jasmine) and quite soothing. The tea is smooth, yet flavorful. I would
recommend you start with less pearls and increase to taste as too much tea can cause a slight bitterness. When brewed at the correct temperature for
the correct amount of time, this tea provides a little bit of heaven on earth. Great tea to relax with at the end of a long day!

This is my favorite tea at Fava. I love the perfumed aroma, and it doesn't get bitter like other jasmine teas.
