Hibiscus is hand-picked from the Hibiscus Sabdariffa variety when the flowers of this shrubby plant become plump and juicy red, and then they are sun dried. Hibiscus is used in teas, wines and tonics throughout the world and is cultivated in Southeastern Asia, Mexico, the Caribbean, China and many African nations.

This tea is indeed tangy and fruity. Pomegranate is the taste it comes closest to. I prefer it hot. Lately I have been blending this with lemongrass
tea. I love it.
