Roasted Almond Chai Chocolate Chip Cookies

Fall calls for chai spices, and nothing embraces that more than our Roasted Almond Chai Chocolate Chip Cookies! Made with our best-selling caffeine-free chai, this delectable dessert recipe is an excellent choice for welcoming in the cooler weather. Quick, easy, and with just a hint of citrus to complement the chocolate, we’re certain this is soon to be your go-to autumn cookie!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1-2 tsp Orange Extract
  • 1 Package Instant Vanilla or White Chocolate Pudding Mix
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 Bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tbsp Finely Ground and Sifted Roasted Almond Chai Tea

Directions:

  1. Finely grind an ounce or two of Roasted Almond Chai tea in a spice grinder. Sift it through a small metal strainer to get the larger pieces out.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine butter, sugars, vanilla, pudding mix, tea and orange extract. Beat until smooth. Combine flour and baking soda and slowly add to tea mixture.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips. The batter will be stiff.
  4. Drop equal sized teaspoon fulls onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375-degrees for 9-minutes or until slightly brown. Cool on wire racks. Yield is about 4-dozen.
