The aroma of our new Golden Monkey Black Organic tea is very rich and woodsy smelling. The flavor of our blend is full bodied and boasts a combination of dark chocolate or cocoa undertones with light peach and apricot notes on the finish. We love how sweet, smooth and silky the texture of this brewed tea is.
Our blend is from the Fujian and Yunnan provinces of China and is hand processed each spring with a delicate picking sequence of one leaf and one bud. Historically this blend gets its name from the resemblance of monkey paws from the final processed leaves.
